  • Why are there hardly any glasses on display?

    We know you expect to see rows and rows of glasses filling the walls when you walk into an opticians, thereis good reason you won't find that here!


    Dont worry, we always have over 300 frames in stock from the finest eyewear manufacturers, so even though ytou can't see ALL our stock, you will have plenty to choose from!


    Its so easy to be overwhelmed and standing in front of 100's of frames and trying to choose the perfect pair can feel like choosing a needle in a haystack!


    Let our eyewear experts take the stess and anxiety out of choosing new glasses. We will bring frames to you that will fit you, reflect your personal sense of style and be suitable for your prescription. - you can relax with a latte and let us do the hard work!!

  • How does an Eyewear styling consultation work?

    This is a better way to choose new eyewear!!


    You have a  45 minute one to one appointment with an eyewear expert.


    This way we have the time to sit down with you, offer you a latte and get to know what kind of eyewear will work best for you.


    We can explore eyewear you may never have thought about trying on.....its a fun way to push you out of your comfort zone!


    We will also advise you on the best  lenses for your and  your prescription.


    Its completey free, and there is no obligation to buy.

  • What price are frames?

    Because we have chosen to work with independent frame manufacturers, who use the best designers and craftsmen in the industry our frames are a bit more expensive than you would find in a normal high street opticians.


    The upside is they look a lot more exciting and are manufactured from far higher quality materials.


    The majority of our stock is between £280 - £550.


    We have some frames that are more expensive than this, and  in Montrose we stock independent eyewear (this isn't handmade) starting from £150.

  • What price are lenses?

    We have a wide range of lenses available and there are always options to consider.


    We will always recommend the lenses that will do the best job for your eyes. 


    Premium Single vision lenses are £180 - £430


    However there are lots of options, and we can provide basic lenses from £60.


    Premium Varifocals are £420 - £710


    There we have lots of options for lens design and we have varifocals available from £190.


    We can also provide sunglasses, transitions lenses, detriving lenses, computer lenses and bifocals.

  • Can I put lenses into my own frame?

    Of course!!


    We are happy to help, so provided your frame is in good, serviceable condition we can put new lenses in it for you.


    A glazing fee does apply to this service.

  • What guarantees do you give?

    We are confident in the frames we stock and the lenses we supply.


    We are also confident that you will love your new glasses, so if you dont, we provide a 60 day love your glasses guarante.


    This means that if there is anything you don't love about your new glasses, we will change it for you. From the way the feel on, to the lens type or even the frame colour....we have got you covered.
